2018 – 2019, B2B real estate · 50,000-apartment catalog
About
An MVP that had grown into a 50,000-apartment catalog was still operated like a prototype — and three problems arrived in sequence. I owned the file manager rebuild, mortgage calculator redesign, and secondary listings intake with moderation across three roles. I replaced folder drift with templates, domain search, sharing, and version history. After the July 2018 law change, I moved mortgage calculations into the apartment page — where agents actually talk to clients. For resale I designed a marking model: new listings as annotations on verified records, not edits to the source of truth. I also started the team's first shared UI component library.
There is more to tell
On a call I can walk you through:
- File manager: template model, domain search, and what "structured" meant for real transaction paperwork
- Why the mortgage calculator had to move — the 2018 law and the agent alone in the room with a client
- Marking model vs direct database edits — the trade-off we chose and what moderation cost
- Component library pitch: what I argued for and what actually got built
If your team ships multi-role B2B tools where data integrity and document flow both matter, let's talk.
